Enhancing Nursing Students’ Speaking Skill in Presenting Healthcare Education by Using TikTok Application

Speaking skills are the that give us ability to communicate effectively. They involve using appropriate vocabulary, voice, and nonverbal cues convey messages in a passionate, thoughtful, convincing manner. Healthcare education need good speaking skill; an have speech simple presentation order educating people about health. Teachers always look for innovative interesting media teaching English skill. TikTok application can be used as effective learning medium which meets needs of students who millennials actually attached digital world. This study was class room action research. The participant this were 40 Ners Undergraduates Program STIKes Flora Academic Year 2022/2023 taking II course sixth semester. research instruments observation, interview, pre-test, post-test. steps presenting healtcare education: (a) teacher made 2 videos; explanation video example, (b)teacher explained TikToks then nursing watch videos got knowledge; (c)students practice pronunciation videos, (d) asked create their own posted it. improvement score from posttest cycles I cycle 8.32. enjoyed with application.
